Born in 1976 in Sunyani-Kyeraa, Ghana, he was raised initially in the Catholic faith and later in the Presbyterian tradition. At age twelve, he gave his life to Christ and steered into evangelistic activity.

His ministry trajectory included founding his first church, the International Grace Gospel Church in Berekum in 1998, before being led into full apostolic service in the UK in 2009. Under his leadership, Beulah Land International grew from a house-group in Luton in 2009 to meeting at Westmoreland House, White City, in London by 2018.

In addition to his pastoral work, Apostle Adu established Beulah Land International Hospital in Accra, Ghana, which provides free medical care to retired Christian pastors as part of its mission. His ministry emphasises supernatural encounters — including healings, prophecies, and spiritual experiences — as part of his calling.
